Horton Animal Hospital Forum

Our Forum location has seen many changes over the years. Originally opened as an out-patient clinic, we have grown into a full-service hospital. We enjoy working with our traditional (dog & cat) and non-traditional patients (rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, rodents, reptiles, and many others). Our mission is to provide quality care and attention to all our patients and their owners.
As animals needs change from pediatrics to adulthood and on to geriatrics, we strive to assure their quality of life. In addition to preventative medicine, we have diagnostic, radiology, ultrasound, dental, surgical and hospitalization facilities on site. Boarding and grooming services are also available.
The opening of our new hospital in June of 2005 has allowed us to care for more patients with expanded housing areas and provide dedicated parking for our clients. We are still on Forum Blvd. just south of Chapel Hill Road.

Our Hours

Monday – Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday: 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon

About Our Doctors

All of our veterinarians are members of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Susan Sczepanski moved to Columbia in 1986 to complete her bachelor’s degree in Biology and enter the MU College of Veterinary Medicine. After 18 months of practice in Wisconsin, she happily returned to her “home”, Columbia. In 1993, she joined Horton Animal Hospital-Forum and has been an active participant in the location’s transition to full-service hospital. Dr. Sczepanski treats not only dogs and cats, but small mammals and reptiles.
"Dr S.", her husband, Foy Trent, and sons Aaron and Morgan, live in northern Boone County. Whippets (small racing dogs), a French Bulldog, a Bullmastiff, and Siamese cats allow them to live in "their" house. She participates in PALS, a pet therapy program through UMC-VMTH, as well as spending time at the VA. Her hobbies include reading, watching old movies, and participating in AKC dog shows (conformation, obedience, and lure coursing).

Dr. Jennifer Reisdorf joined Horton Animal Hospitals in 2000. Originally from St. Louis, she attended the University of Missouri-Columbia on a gymnastics scholarship and completed her bachelor's degree in biochemistry. She is a 2000 graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Reisdorf is an active triathlete and a member of the Columbia Multisport Club. She has enjoyed training and racing since 2003. She considers one of her greatest achievements to be the completion of two Ironman triathlons, one of which she placed third overall female. Her other hobbies include reading, music, and drawing. Dr. Reisdorf shares her home with two cats and one dog.

Dr. Beth Luebbering moved to Columbia in 2002. She completed her Bachelor's degree at Truman State University, where she competitively ran Cross Country and Track & Field for four years. In addition, she is a two time all-American in the 10,000 meter run.
After graduating from Truman, she began her veterinary training at the University of Missouri. She joined Horton Animal Hospitals in 2006. She continues her running as a member of the Columbia Track Club and helps coach the CTC Colts youth cross country team. She is also a member of the local PEO chapter.
Dr. Luebbering has a special interest in physical therapy and orthopedics.
She has two cats, Izzy and Rolen, and a dog, Molly.
